US- company Tripp Lite has teamed up with publishing company Icecat to increase the availability of its spreadsheets to its international channel partners.

The partnership will enable the company to respond quicker and more precisely to its channel’s demand for updated and standardised information about its products.

Tripp Lite’s e-commerce partners in Canada, UK, France, Mexico and Russia will now be available to access the company’s detailed datasheets in four different languages, through Icecat’s open catalogue.

Documents such as marketing texts, images, technical specifiactions and cross-references will be available in a variety of formats, such as HTML, LIVE, CSV and XML.

UPS company Tripp Lite is increasing its focus on the African market by appointing Eran Kessel as Director of Sales for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Since 2012 Kessel has been in charge of the company’s marketing efforts in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia – and he will retain the role as Director of International marketing for Europe, Africa and Asia alongside his new role.

Darwin Haines, VP of sales in EMEA and Asia commented the appointment in a statement: “He possesses the competent leadership and experience we need to head our aggressive business expansion project in Sub-Saharan Africa. Eran is ideally suited to help us stimulate growth and accelerate the development of our business in the dynamic SSA region.”

Kessel takes on the job with nearly 20 years of experience from marketing and sales management in the data centre industry.
