GE critical power has launched a new high-efficiency rectifier.
The company’s most recent addition to its portfolio of rectifiers, the CP3000AC54TE-F boasts a 95,6% energy efficiency, and can handle AC inputs of 120, 208 and 240 volts, and provides 48 volts of power output.
The rectifier features a compact 1U form factor, and provides constant Power over Ethernet – compliant power from 52-58 volts.
The new rectifier complements, and is slot swappable with GE’s CP2500DC45PE-F DC/DC Converter.
GE Critical Power recently launched GP100, a new line of 1U, 6 kW, 54 volt AC-to-DC rectifiers.
The line includes a compact module intended for data centres and telecommunications, the GP100R Compact for rack or cabinet mounting, as well as the GP100M intended for embedded data, networking and industrial power supply solutions.
The GP100 rectifiers are small enough for two units to be installed in 1U of rack space, by allowing 12kW per 1U the rectifiers are claimed to provide the highest density three-phase power supply available to date. The GP100 rectifiers can also be paralleled into packaged systems ranging from 12 kW to 432 kW.
Hot on the heels of the introduction of its GP100 line, GE also announced the CP3500 rectifier, a compact high-density 3.5 –kW AC to 48-volt DC rectifier in a 1U¹ module has an energy efficiency of 96%.
