US energy storage developer Greensmith has added Aquion’s aqueous sodium-ion and ViZn’s zinc redox flow batteries to its product portfolio.
Aquion produces 1.5kWh S10 Battery Stack units, as well as an 18kWh system that combines twelve of its S10 units. The Pittsburgh-based firm claims a price point of $250/kWh.
