German lithium energy storage systems company Sonnenbatterie is set to open a research and development facility in the U.S.

The 5,000 sq. ft. space in Atlanta, Georgia, will house up to 15 engineers tasked with expanding the company’s next generation of smart energy storage devices for homes and businesses.

Integral Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary ElectriPlast Corporation, has a patent pending on a plate which replaces multiple layers of grids, paste and separators.

The Berlin intelligent grid-scale energy storage solutions company signed a long-term lease for a 32,500 square feet facility in Austin, Texas.
