Sovema, the Italian owned global supplier of lead-acid battery machine making equipment has announced it is going to pursue IP counterfeiters in China and deal with them, through the courts and other channels.

The company is setting up a special task force to identify fake equipment being produced in China and stop both its manufacture and use.

Italian battery manufacturing machinery firm Sovema is to launch an updated enveloper machine for enveloping lead-acid battery plates in mid-2014.

After two to three years of testing and trials in various locations around the world, in the next quarter Sovema will launch an improved version of its enveloping machine, General Manager Massimiliano Ianniello told BEST.
