GE Critical Power has announced it will be able to offer a new medium-voltage switchgear for mission-critical and commercial applications later this year.
The ANSI/IEEE standardised air-insulated SecoGear switchgear will be available in three capacities; 4.76, 8.24 and 15 kVA.
The metal-clad switchgear is designed to provide applications such as hospitals, data centres and shopping centres with reliable electrical distribution.
The company, which says it has invested “heavily” in its medium-voltage offerings the past year, also announced it will launch several medium-voltage products in the coming months and well into 2016.
