Swiss firm Leclanché has bought module and battery management system software know how from its partner as it positions itself as a complete battery-based energy storage company.

The lithium-ion cell and separator company has bought German IT firm ADS-TEC’s design and IP rights after years of working together on state-of-art modules, BMS and master control systems.
