By the standards of the average battery conference, this was a small and intimate affair. Just two days, with around 200 delegates, from mainly European utility companies, start‑ups and investors. All packed into a side-room on the second floor of the Royal Garden Hotel, located next to London’s famous Hyde Park.
However, this small conference had big ambitions. This was a no‑nonsense, taut meeting of some of the world’s biggest names, all gathered to explore the future of renewable energy storage. Representatives from heavyweight firms such as E.ON, DONG Energy, Samsung SDI, Younicos and Tesla Motors (Energy) discussed the why, where and how of bringing large-scale storage to grid level renewable energy production. -

In its anniversary year, EUROSOLAR and WCRE will organize the International Renewable Energy Storage conference for the 10th time. In 2016 the 5th edition of the Energy Storage Europe (Expo and Conference) will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany from 15th till 17th March, 2016.

China Industrial Association of Power Sources is the organizer of China International Battery Fair (CIBF). The CIBF is a battery industry international regular fair, is held biennially in China, and has become the largest battery fair in the world. Following successfully held the "10th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2014)" in June 20 to 22, 2014 in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, China Industrial Association of Power Sources will hold "the 12th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2016)" in May 24 to 26, 2016.
For CIBF2016, exhibition area is 67,500 square meters, exhibitors will go to 1000, the number of booths will be over 2500, there will be more than 30,000 visitors from more than 50 countries to visit the exhibition. The theme of CIBF2016 technical conference will be “power batteries and storage batteries", focusing on electric vehicle batteries and micro-grid, smart grid and energy storage battery with a variety of the latest developments. There will be 800 people from more than 50 countries and regions attend the meeting. In the same period, more than 20 business seminars will be hold for domestic and foreign manufacturers..
CIBF has been regarded as a trade place for battery manufacturers and users to exchange ideas on new technology, to expand their markets and promote their products and services to customers in the worldwide marketplace.
